I’ve mentioned my friend Cheryl Rainfield, author of Scars, on this blog. She just sent me a link to an interview she did for Daytime Toronto. It’s well worth watching!

Thank you, Erin. (smiling at you) I really appreciate that!
Great to see Cheryl speaking so calmly and confidently about her experiences, her book, and people’s responses to it. Very gratifying for her and for those of us who know her. I hope I’ll do as well when Daytime Toronto interviews me about my book, Highway of Heroes, on November 11.
She did a great job, didn’t she? And exciting news for her now!!! (I’m going to post about that in a minute.)
November 11 is a perfect time for an interview about your book. Peter read part of it to us in class last night. It made me cry a bit. I think you handled the material very sensitively–your character’s voice was perfect. Brilliant work, Kathy! 🙂
